PSYCHOTHERAPY

My treatment philosophy aims to create a comfortable space for you to explore your emotions and experiences. I believe that we each have the power to heal ourselves but that this can be more effectively unlocked by working with a trained professional. I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches, including drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), psychodynamic therapy, and control-mastery theory. I am also trained in Prolonged Exposure (PE) for trauma. Typical treatment cases include individuals with depression, anxiety, a variety of addictions, self-esteem issues, adjustment/transition troubles, bipolar disorder, psychosis, developmental disorders, chronic health conditions, infertility, and traumatic brain injuries, among others. I also provide telehealth treatment.
